At The Shift Network, we believe healing begins with dignity, care, and the remembering of our shared humanity.
We are grieving the lives lost in connection with immigration enforcement activity in Minnesota — including Alex Pretti and Renée Good — and we also acknowledge the many other lives harmed or lost through immigration enforcement across the U.S., disproportionately impacting communities of color.
We recognize that violence, repression, and human suffering are unfolding globally as well, including in Iran. No matter the place, we stand for the protection of human life, accountability, nonviolence, and the inherent dignity of all people.
In moments like these, resisting dehumanization — even when emotions run high — is essential to creating a more just and peaceful world.
To support our community in navigating grief, uncertainty, and collective stress we are offering a special guided meditation.
We’re holding all who are grieving in our hearts and offering spaces for grounding and reflection this week.
