“My Mission is to Normalize Intuition.”
Energy intuitive Marie Manuchehri on discovering her path as a medical intuitive.
Marie Manuchehri, RN, cares for clients around the world by providing effective insights into their health issues, as well as mediumship to help them connect with loved ones on the Other Side.
Describe the moment you decided you were ready to commit to this path.
I feel as if the universe made this decision for me or at least made it easy. I knew at the time, in 1999, that I was seeing, hearing, and experiencing my patients’ energy. I was working as an oncology RN and had begun laying my hands on patients in a healing way. I was learning a great deal about the people lying in hospital beds, information they were not verbally sharing with anyone. In most cases, I doubt the patients themselves were aware of their true feelings — the repressed emotions that were making them sick. Yet their organs were spilling the beans daily, sharing knowledge buried deep within their bodies, often dating back decades.
One night, I was at home contemplating enrolling in a long-term healing course. The program would take place in a different state, requiring travel several times a year, or even monthly, depending on which course I chose. This was before online learning existed.
That evening, my spirit guides, with whom I had become acquainted months earlier, sat near me. As I can easily see and experience them, they shared that there was a hospital full of patients waiting for me to begin my lessons, and that the universe itself would happily be my teacher.
If you’re at a dinner party, how do you describe what you do?
I share that I am highly intuitive, that I work in the field of energy medicine, and that I am also a medium. I almost always hope that no one asks me this question — not because I don’t want to share what I do. I love my work and am humbled by the opportunities that intuition has provided me. Yet once I share my career path, all eyes are on me, and I feel as though no one else wants to share their work.
I have always felt accepted by strangers when they learn what I do. It’s an odd thing, but it’s true. Perhaps they can feel the joy my work brings to me and my confidence in the power of intuition.
At a dinner party, can you read the energy and discuss the health of people?
Yes, although when I am not working, it’s best that I stay fully in my own body. Otherwise, I can lose sight of my own needs, such as eating the foods that are right for me. I could easily read the energy of everyone at the table, but if someone is seeking a medical intuitive reading, it’s best for me to work one-on-one, away from others. In those settings, I communicate most clearly while writing out their energy and asking specific questions.
Alcohol also cannot be involved when I am reading energy. If I’m asked to do so in a public setting, I focus only on simple aspects of a person’s energy, such as the size of their chakras or their auric field. Most people don’t realize that reading energy takes energy. Healers and mediums need to be in a receptive, grounded state in order to read clearly.
What are the essential things you’d like people to understand about your work and your mission?
My mission is to normalize intuition. Everyone is truly meant to be intuitive. Insight offers far more solutions, solutions that vibrate at higher frequencies than logic alone. These solutions not only make sense; they are deeply desirable.
I believe humanity is currently on a path toward multisensory awakening. As our species learns to be present, to stop overreacting through mind-made emotions, and to fully love ourselves while recognizing the magnificence in all beings, intuition will unite us with the Divine. With that union, our understanding of all things will become truly magical.
When you were a child, what signals did you sense that you might head in this direction professionally?
Honestly, none. I do remember feeling, as I walked home from school, that I was being followed, not in a fearful way, but in an energetic one. I would often look over my shoulder, fully expecting someone to be there, yet no one ever was. When I became a teenager, a voice told me to imagine that a movie crew was following me after school and that there was nothing to worry about.
My awareness of energy medicine and intuition emerged when I became a nurse. I believe that the feeling of joy is the sense we need to walk our own yellow brick road. Every experience after entering nursing school felt alive and vibrant, preparing me to assist others on their self-healing journeys.
What does your mother (or your children or friends) think about what you’re doing?
My mother was, and still is, a believer in holistic medicine — anything outside of modern medical practices. As children, our primary healthcare provider was a chiropractor, and if we were truly ill, we would see an herbal medicine practitioner. My mother was not thrilled when I became an RN, but she is very happy with the work I do now.
My children are extremely supportive, and I choose to surround myself with like-minded people.
What are the differences between how you and how most other people look at the world?
There is an awareness that all beings are manifesting the world they are experiencing. Of course, much of this co-creation happens unconsciously. I see everyone as an incredibly empowered being, and I know that all experiences are pathways to higher forms of awareness. Souls, which we all are, are thrilled by their experiences, no matter what they may be, knowing that we exist eternally and that souls are vastly curious by nature.
This perception can make it challenging to discuss war, crime, and other forms of human suffering. Even spiritualists can become entangled in the difficulties of human perception while having a human experience. Still, we hope to reconnect with our true selves and hear the energy of the Most High, so we can let go and simply be present.
When does your path bring you the most comfort?
When I can hear God, Source, Creation, the language is profoundly healing. It is numbing in a way that allows detachment from fear and doubt. The voice always surprises me. It arrives as a knowingness that floods my mind with unexpected knowledge, often taking my breath away.
When does it challenge you the most?
When a client is very ill or grieving a devastating loss, like that of a child or a partner, there are moments when my words and energy feel insufficient to meet the depth of their pain.
Are you sometimes in awe of what you receive and of what you are able to do? When does that happen?
Every day, I feel reverence for what I have heard, seen, and felt as I dance with the multisensory world. The layers of energy extending toward eternity are rich with freedom and love. When I feel this energy, usually daily, sometimes many times a day, I am overwhelmed by the unconditional love being expressed to me, and to everyone. These moments are most easily felt when I consciously vibrate my energy in the present.

A worthy and timely goal, Marie!
"Human evolution, as envisioned here, shall be achieved in part by facilitating a greater integration of Intuitive Intelligence into our beings such that a substantial, if not majority, of our activity is directed more by Intuitive Intelligence than by egocentric deliberation. Once Intuitive Intelligence becomes embodied as a principal source for knowledge and insight, acknowledged as a bona fide 6th sense – Intuitive Intelligence shall habitually “come to mind” both individually and collectively to inform and influence resonant action – paving the way to the new paradigm. The more we allow Intuitive Intelligence to override our egocentric deliberation, the more the ‘Whole’ can guide us, and the more quickly we evolve."

Beautifully articulated how intuition isn't just woo-woo but a legitimate decision-making framework that complements logic. The part where Marie talks about repressed emotions showing up in organs really landed for me becuase I've seen how chronic stress manifests physically in ways that lab work doesn't always capture. The idea that multisensory awakening could unite us with higher understanding feels particularly relevant given how muich we're collectively navigating right now.
